Cost Planning and Simulation

Cost planning and simulation functions are based on SAP HR Organization Management data and business planning with SAP Business Intelligence (BI).

These functions allow you to optimize whole enterprise planning process, measure all information regarding payments on different detailed levels: employees, organization units, jobs and positions. Recording above noticed data is conducted as standard procedure into special, cost planning related, job, position etc. maintenance views. Standard methods of data collecting could be easily adapted and are allowing to include in cost planning process different data sources, which are being used on your enterprise.

Accessibility to such a wide set of data sources allows you to create trustfully and concrete workforce cost planning.

Using workforce cost planning functions you can perform:

  • Create and simulate different cost planning scenarios on basis of wide range of forecasting data;
  • Create enterprise cost planning at whole or for some different subdivisions or even for such “small” organization units like groups in your department;
  • Model personal costs using different planning parameters like planned staff, average salary by employee categories, planning budget for a single enterprise, enrollment cost for a single employee, learning event cost and number of planned learning programs etc.
  • Involve staff managers into cost planning process, granting them capability to process data for organization units they are responsible of.

After cost plan confirmation a statistics becomes available for further processes like controlling, creating a compensation planning or learning budget.
